Recycled glass hotel
The Morrow Royal Pavilion in Las Vegas has claimed to be the world’s largest building made from recycled bottles. The hotel has been made of more than 500,000 beer bottles crushed into a composite material called "GreenStone". Greenstone is a concrete substitute made from a recycled glass aggregate and fly ash, a byproduct from coal-fired power plants
By using this material, an estimate 30,000 square meters of landfill space is saved.
